Trivia: The shot of the ship on its side toward the end (when Fry looks out the cab window on his way to the Statue of Liberty) was an actual shot of the Normandie, which had capsized at its pier in New York in what turned out to be an actual act of sabotage. (But it was the Mafia, not the Nazis, that did it - they were hoping to convince the government to pay them to provide protection against Nazi sabotage. The US Navy wanted Alfred Hitchcock to delete it from the film, but he refused.) (more) Goofs: Continuity: The close-up of the Soda City calendar shows a much heavier coating of spider webs than the previous shot. (more) Quotes: [Philip, a blind man, explains to Patricia why he believes Barry is innocent] Phillip Martin: Don't you know I can see a great deal farther than you can? I can see intangible things. For example, innocence. (more) Awards: 1 nomination (more)
