Fun Stuff
Trivia: In the first episode, Tony Soprano brings his mother to a nursing home. While they're visiting the place, a group of elder people is shown watching "The Rockford Files" (1974) on TV. Sopranos creator David Chase got his big break in television as a writer and producer on "The Rockford Files". (more)

Goofs: Factual errors: Director Mike Nichols is incorrectly listed as playing "Dr. Krakower" in Episode #33 "Second Opinion" in 2001, when the role was actually played by Sully Boyar. Perhaps, Nichols was originally set to make an appearance in role, but had to back out. (more)

Quotes: Dr. Jennifer Melfi: [to a friend, about men] Sure. You want someone who's sensitive to your needs, but still decisive enough for the occasional grope in the closet. (more)

Awards: Won 5 Golden Globes. Another 69 wins & 168 nominations (more)
